I reached out to Joe and his wife Mikki of Loop Photography for a mini family photoshoot for the holidays, and I must say, they are quite the dynamic duo husband and wife photography team! We lucked out with a beautiful fall day in North Park. Joe and Mikki scoped out a beautiful place in the park with fall scenery the day before our shoot to ensure that we would have wonderful backdrop for our photos, which goes above and beyond for them to search for that before our scheduled shoot. And the colors in the photos were unreal! Joe and Mikki were highly professional, personable, and just all around fantastic to work with from start to finish. When it comes to capturing one of the most important moments of your life, you'll want to hire Loop Photography. Joe and Miki went above and beyond to photograph our entire Halloween wedding day, from getting ready at the hotel all the way until after the reception to sneak in a few romantic nighttime shots. They work wonderfully together, constantly collaborating to perfect the composition of each shot they take and giving excellent direction. We appreciated the detailed wedding questionnaire they sent in advance where we provided information about us and our event. It was especially helpful in prompting us to think about the specific groupings of photos we wanted to get since we surely would have forgotten those details in the moment. The turnaround time to receive a link to all our edited photos was about three days which was amazingly fast, and we couldn’t wait to share them with all our friends and family. We are forever grateful to Loop Photography for their magnificent work.

My husband and I did not plan on hiring a photographer but when his daughter came to town for our wedding and discovered this, she asked if we would mind if she hired one. So the evening before our wedding, a close friend connected her with Joe. We couldn’t believe that Loop photography was available on such short notice! Joe and Miki were a pleasure to work with, they are both so kind and accommodating. Somehow they managed to capture all the special moments without always having us stop to pose for the photos. Joe is clearly gifted as our pictures are amazing!! I don’t know how he did it but many of the pictures look as if he used some type of special effects for lack of a better phrase. Many times I’ve taken pictures while on vacation or attending a special occasion and I always end up a little disappointed because the pictures never quite capture the beauty and/or the feeling of that moment. That is not the case at all with Joe’s work. We love looking at our wedding pictures and reliving every moment of our special day! We are so grateful to Joe and Miki for the incredible job they did! Joe is really an incredible photographer, but so much more than that! He is collaborative to the needs/wants of his clients, listens to them well, and does everything within his power to make them feel comfortable (not everyone loves having their photos taken). I had headshots taken for my music, and I still use them (it’s been a few years). I was initially a little wary because photos can highlight so many flaws, but my pictures were amazing and very “me”, and I loved that. Cannot say enough good things about this experience!
